Centered at the University of California, Berkeley, providing pathways to professionalism through archaeological training is a main emphasis of the Archaeology Heritage Lab. Our work provides space for students, community collaborators, government departments, and archaeologists to learn best practices for the future of heritage conservation archaeology.

the Archaeology Heritage Lab faculty and graduate students here at U.C. Berkeley are also members of the Archaeological Research Facility, which is a multi-department Organized Research Unit focused on completing archaeological fieldwork, analysis, and publications. ARF affiliates work around the world. Learn more at http://arf.berkeley.edu/
