The Archaeological Research Facility (ARF) at the University of California, Berkeley is a hub for  archaeologists committed to community archaeology. ARF affiliates include Berkeley faculty and other archaeologists with connections to Berkeley. In addition to conducting community-oriented research, ARF affiliates seek to connect local residents with the material remains of their pasts.

For several years, the ARF has operated a public talks series designed to spread information about archaeology to wider audiences. The ARF’s YouTube channel is one of its most popular online platforms. With the presenter’s consent, ARF talks are uploaded to YouTube in hopes that the research connected to Berkeley can make a wider impact around the world. You can check out the ARF YouTube Channel to learn more about what’s happening at UC Berkeley.
